Think it’s last week I got a GEMS best performance awards from my workplace. Only 2 person in my section and there are 2 awards only, that why I got the best performance and my leader got the most improved award. Just for showing the higher authority tat they are issuing awards to their staff. Anyway, I got tat award le.
Yesterday 18th of May I dunno whether there is anything I have done wrong in the day ah, everything went on like shit for me. In the morning. When I am taking mrt, I saw a vacant seat near me and I started to walk over to it and an uncle, a bald head uncle rushed like mad wanna to snatch the seat from me. I am like going to sit down already and he still dare to snatch like that. Normally, if I saw that person is an elderly of cos I will give up the seat and let the person ‘enjoy’ the comfort of sitting and yesterday I purposely sit and dun allow any face for that bald uncle. I won. Haha bur I am still dun like this kind of things ah. Singaporean do u hav to snatch until like tat??!!!
Den later in the day at my workplace there is one maid employer asking abt the entry test questions that first time maid hav to go thru. There is total of 120 questions on the web. My colleague told her that she cant print that so much pages for her and she can only print up to 20 questions for the others she will hav to surf the web herself and print elsewhere. (this is a dunno when implemented policy that we cant allow ppl to print too many things so that we can save paper for other ppl, dunno it’s gd or bad though for me) my colleague printed out the 20 questions and the employer just shoo her away and my colleague saw that the employer still going to print out other pages and she asked to went over. I nicely explain the policy and raise a bit of my voice as the employer is very rudely talking on the phone and disregarding me. After listening to what I say she still open that other webpage and click ‘print’ right in my face, kao man. I feel so damn insulted, was what I explained just now all bullshit???! To prevent her from printing, I close the webpage with the nice control key Alt + F4 wah feel so shuang sia. (ok I mean, my action is not very good also, but I wont regret my action though) The employer started to get mad and demand to speak to my supervisor and she keep saying I haven even printed up to 20 questions and started her ranting at me. I thought she is speaking the truth and I just say is it? If that the case I will let u print till question 20 den she started to rant on and rant abt what kind of service is this, u are so rude blah blah blah ( but as u know singaporean are generally very kiasu, once they know the printing is free of charge for printing they wish they could just print out 1000 pages if they can.)
I really admire myself I still can smile back to that person and say it is ok tat u wan to speak my supervisor u just got to wait for a while while I call my supervisor. Den really too bad for her, my supervisor not here, other managers tink went for meeting. When I finally found someone the employer already left. Purposely ask my colleague both of our full names and she stated that she will certainly go and complain abt us. Great! Haha I already have so much, I dun mind having another. Hoho~ I realised ah the most fussy, irritating n annoying customers ranking, singaporean is always number one sia. China ppl can only be second to them cant even win them. So disappointed sia. I realised too much things abt service sector really wanna change my environment sia. Fainting le, if everyday like tat I dunno how much hair I will lost and how much more acid I will create in my stomach sia…
Endless complains at my workplace, we always face the conflict with customers when come to printing of forms. Implement this kind of things and there are never notices put on the wall for us as staff to having a backing stand and we are always the very frontline ppl who get scolded. But the ppl who invented all these know nothing. Once there is complain abt staff disallowing them to view jobs website, the next they say ok now u allow them to view. Once tis complain is made, they say ok now u allow them to print out all the 120 questions. cant they sit down and brainstorm for a while, forseeing some problems they will face and please solve the sickening problems. Dun u tink solving problem like tat this when things already happened is already too late???!!! The notice abt printing of forms I have been asking like for the starting of my job there until now I still get nothing and I face the same own problems everyday. Just a simple simple notice they also cannot print, even u just put a A4 size paper with black ink to print just one notice I will also appreciate it man. God please help me I cant stand working all these muddle-headed ppl which the only difference between them and I is just because of a simple cert. Sickening.
Hoosh~ finished my 4th complain. Really hope there is no next one. the only thing I learn at the workplace is too shoo ppl away and shout at ppl when needed. Why am I doing this to myself?
Previously they say I need not wear uniforms, now they say I need to wear uniforms. Today I finally wanna make my presence known. My colleague and I went to talk to my ‘supervisor’, although we know he wont give us any answer tat we want, we just wan to let him know our thoughts n position. We ask him when do need to make the uniforms and he cant give a specific time. We say wont want to wear it, since u r not sure when, u make as well postpone it as far as u could. We dun wan to waste ur money if we are leaving. Den he ask when u r leaving?? I just say who know? Maybe on that date u wan us to wear the uniforms. Haha. My leader keep saying tat he is going to quit the job, when we ask supervisor he say he haven receive resignation letter yet. Den I ask if he really leave another new staff will be coming ion right? Ya. Who will be the one training this person? He say u ah den I say my knowledge also not as detail as the leader how to train others. He started to say muz hav confident and started to talk abt my leader last time also know nothing but now he is skillful, den I just cut him and tell him, ok dun start abt this, I heard it before, we talk abt the next matter. Ha~ tink I am kinda brave ah. But I really dun wanna waste my time listening to longtime bedtime story over and over again. No raise in pay no early inform on matter and expect me to give training to new worker, u are taking me for granted? Muz ask my agent whether I am oblige to do EVERYTHING tat they wan me too do anot. I have my right also ba. The 10 min talk today is just a speaking out session for us ah not seeking ans cos we know he wont give any, as long as we got to say out what we intend to say we got the load off our shoulders for a while.
